15th June 2021 Point Samson
Another windy day I believe the forecast is for the weather to get worse over the coming week.
After breakfast Merv and John went out to the carpark to work on the truck, they drained some fuel out added some Kemtech diesel power and fitted a new filter. Merv took it for a quick drive, so far touch wood it appears to be running ok but we will be staying close to civilisation for awhile just in case.
We went for a big walk after Lunch in a different direction along beachfront and around the rocks, on the way back we saw a pheasant coucon, we weren't sure what it was till we looked it up, it is a bird from the cookoo family and endemic to the Pilbara, quite an unusual bird quite large.
We dropped in to see Josie and John and found Josie had made us a delicious minestrone soup and some rissoles.
We had the soup for dinner it was so thick with fresh vegetables add a slice of fresh bread and it was enough for a meal
