28th June 2021 Point Samson

A very nice morning today we are planning to go fishing but John and Josie had to go into Karratha so we are waiting for them to return.

We had our usual morning with breaking and a walk to the wharf.

Merv made some date scones to take out on the boat with a thermos and coffee.

When the others returned we headed out in the boat, first chance in quite awhile, the conditions were excellent.

Since the cold windy weather came through and the full moon there doesn't seem to be as many fish about, we caught a variety of fish but only took home a black snapper and a striped snapper for dinner.

We had a quiet night with Merv cooking our fish on the BBQ then we had a game of cards.
