8th June 2021 Karratha

Very windy again today but I don't care as I am going to have a bit of a rest today, had a bad nights sleep with heat and hurting I think maybe I have walked a bit much.

Later get up then breakfast and laundry and smooch about.

Merv made a yummy fruit and nut loaf.

After lunch we went down to the sports store and bought some digital scales for weighing the gas bottles and fish, the sports store is dangerous to go into the amount of fishing gear as well as everything else they have is ridiculous. 

We had run out of wine, we normally buy nice cask wine as there is not the concern of broken bottles, unfortunately we forgot all the way up the coast you can't buy casks to protect the indigenous people, we also had to show ID as they have a register of people not permitted to buy alcohol. We got some bottles and back to camp.

Definitely a lazy afternoon
