We left Streaky Bay to continue our travel south. We stopped ar Elliston and had intended on staying we walked out the long jetty, around the beach and around the spectacular cliffs. They have a very nice grassed bbq area so we had lunch there, it was still quite early so we decided to move on. We arrived at Tumby bay around 4.30 and booked into the SACWA caravan park, it is only a small site with powered and unpowered sites, we paid $20 for an unpowered site but we had our own toilet and bathroom, water and a free washing machine, this park is not any good for big vans. The park is directly across from the beach and just along from the jetty. After setting up we went for a walk to the jetty, people were fishing catching small skippy, mackerel and herring, there was plenty of evidence of squid being caught from the jetty.
