We arrived to a nice sunny day, we found our free stay area and parked up and went for an exploration walk.
We went down to the wharf where some boats were just returning, they showed us their catch, big nanaghi, breaksea cod which the young boy enjoyed calling it black ass, apparent5they have a black circle around their ass, they had a whole big bin of assortment which they said they had gone 14 miles out to get.
We then went for a walk on the beach. The beach was beautiful to look at but hard to walk on, we did walk a long way up the beach then later into town to check IGA, then down to the beach on the other side of the wharf, we had seen people swimming there and jet skis launching from that spot.
The sand was a lot harder and easier to walk on so we just kept walking, we came upon some people catching garfish and herring and wondered if we should try.
We walked around to the wharf as it was getting late and people were fishing from the wharf, t both had caught a squid, earlier we were talking to a young man who had caught a cuttle fish from the wharf
